Details

Premium Ingredients SL have launched two ingredients aimed at enhancing the texture and shelf life of UHT milk and cheese.
 
The company has developed Premitex XLB-6012, a blend of emulsifiers and stabilizers which are composed of mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, carrageenan and guar gum. This will provide improved emulsion stability, appearance and the prevention of fat separation and sedimentation.
 

Potential Benefits

The company claims the key benefit from the product for UHT milk will be to maintain its chemical and physical characteristics during prolonged storage times while avoiding quality deterioration caused by changes in temperature.

The Premitex range is a product group supplied by Premium Ingredients.
